My academic training — a degree in Geography and History and a diploma in Tourism from the University of Seville — gave me the tools, but my experience over three decades as an official Seville tour guide gave me the craft.

Humor as a Bridge

Humor has always been my greatest ally. When someone questioned the miracles of a religious image, I would always respond: "Of course it's miraculous! Yesterday I got a group of (insert any nationality) to leave me a tip!" I've even been asked for metaphysical explanations in the pouring rain: "Carlos, how does it rain?"

These experiences have made my work, after so many years, something passionate, captivating, and deeply entertaining. As an official Seville tour guide, I don't just recite facts — I bring history to life through the human stories that make each place unforgettable.
